Refund, Return & Adjustment Policy

Overview

We provide professional services in regulatory compliance, document preparation, tax analysis, electronic filing, consulting, and related work. Due to the nature of these services, most services are non-refundable once rendered.


This Refund Policy applies to all clients nationwide in the United States, including services paid directly and services paid through bank products with Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG). or any other bank product services, or any other ways the company deem to collect its service fees/charges.


No Refund / No Return Policy

Because our services require professional time, expertise, and regulatory submissions, ALL SALES ARE FINAL once any of the following have occurred:

  • Payment has been made, and the client has up to 48 hours to cancel.
    • The 48-hours does not apply under the express or expedited service.
  • Client authorizations and required signatures have been completed
  • A tax return has been electronically filed with the IRS and accepted


Once a tax return is accepted by the IRS, the service is deemed fully performed and completed, and NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED under any circumstances.

This policy applies regardless of:

  • Refund amount
  • Filing outcome
  • Client dissatisfaction
  • Changes in tax law or personal circumstances


IRS Rejected Return Exception

In rare instances where a tax return is rejected by the IRS and cannot be corrected or resubmitted, the client may submit a written refund request for review.


Refund decisions are made solely at the discretion of Laniiic Services, Inc.


If a partial refund is approved, it will be calculated as:

  • 50% of the preparation fees paid, or
  • $200.00, whichever amount is lesser


No refund is guaranteed, and approval is not automatic.


Adjustment & Update Policy (One-Year Window)

While refunds are limited, clients are entitled to request an update of the status of their refund within one year from the year the return was e-filed and accepted by the IRS. For all other services, such as business registration, contract writing, bylaws, and partnership agreements, etc., the client is entitled to updates, corrections, or adjustments to most portfolio services for up to one (1) year from the original service date.


This includes:

  • Corrections due to newly discovered or corrected information
  • Amendments when legally required or requested
  • Updates within the original scope of service


Additional fees may apply depending on the nature of the request.


SBTPG Bank Product Fee Disclosure Alignment

If a client elects to use Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG) bank products (including refund transfer or refund advance services):

  • Preparation fees may be deducted from the tax refund
  • SBTPG fees are separate from LANIC Services’ fees
  • Once SBTPG processes a refund or disbursement, fees are non-refundable

Laniiic does not control the timing of SBTPG refunds, funding decisions, or bank product eligibility.

Clients are responsible for reviewing SBTPG’s separate disclosures and agreements prior to selection.


Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing complete and accurate information
  • Reviewing all documents prior to signing
  • Understanding that filing fees are earned when services are rendered


Laniiic is not responsible for penalties, interest, or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.


Policy Acceptance

By engaging Laniiic, submitting payment, and signing required documents, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Refund, Return & Adjustment Policy.
